The Route 66 Big Birthday Bash Report!

Last night was BRILLIANT! Thanks so much to everyone who helped make it a success!

1) The DJs! Give it up for their awesome work!

2) The Turk’s Head! What a fantastic venue and dance floor!

3) Jessica! Thanks so much for organising the card, that was so lovely! 🙂 And, of course, the swing scene in Dublin wouldn’t be what it is today without all the hard work she’s done to help build and enrich it! Also, thanks to everyone who signed the card, it’s cool to see how many lives we’ve touched. 🙂

4) YOU GUYS! As much as we’ve touched some of your lives, believe me, you’ve touched mine at least as much. It’s my experiences as a dance teacher that helped me decide to do a course (starting at UCD at the end of August) to get qualified as a secondary school teacher (science/biology and math). So thank you all for everything over the years.

Here’s to the next 10 years! 🙂

All the best,

Jamie and Clare

Classes Closures

The re-opening of our classes has been suspended for the moment due to the latest government guidelines. As soon as our studios open back up again and as soon as we deem safe to do so (swing dancing, being a partner dance, doesn’t follow the same rules as other solo dance forms), we will announce when our classes are starting back again.

Stay safe and well!
