The Route 66 Big Birthday Bash Report!

Last night was BRILLIANT! Thanks so much to everyone who helped make it a success!

1) The DJs! Give it up for their awesome work!

2) The Turk’s Head! What a fantastic venue and dance floor!

3) Jessica! Thanks so much for organising the card, that was so lovely! 🙂 And, of course, the swing scene in Dublin wouldn’t be what it is today without all the hard work she’s done to help build and enrich it! Also, thanks to everyone who signed the card, it’s cool to see how many lives we’ve touched. 🙂

4) YOU GUYS! As much as we’ve touched some of your lives, believe me, you’ve touched mine at least as much. It’s my experiences as a dance teacher that helped me decide to do a course (starting at UCD at the end of August) to get qualified as a secondary school teacher (science/biology and math). So thank you all for everything over the years.

Here’s to the next 10 years! 🙂

All the best,

Jamie and Clare

Due to the COVID-19 crisis and for the health and safety of all our dancers, both our Monday Lindy Hop classes in the Liffey Trust Studios and our Wednesday Route 66 night in the Turk's Head are suspended until further notice.

We apologise for any inconvenience.

For those of you in the middle of our current Monday Lindy Hop 6-week session, we will resume with the remaining 3 weeks as soon as we're all through this.

In the meantime, please stay safe and we look forward to seeing you all again when we're given the go ahead by the HSE.
